What a Difference a Day Makes

Thank you to all of you who checked on me.  I think yesterday’s post was a little selfish – I said “do not panic” but quite frankly I was writing to myself.

The inspection went fine.  There is a possibility that another rental will come available for MUCH less than we are paying now which would be a blessing.  We are doing okay – please do not think we are needing assistance.

But less outgoing would be a big blessing.

I was shocked because I never thought there would be something cheaper……

See that’s the important thing…..did you catch it…….

I      Never     Thought

We (I) spend so much time “thinking” and still never come up with the solution that God has planned.  If I think hard enough I will construct a plan and then probably act out on it and end up on a wrong road.

Do Not Panic.  This is a good mantra for over thinkers like me.

Bob would say….”Just Breathe”

One of you wrote – – PSALM 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;

I struggle with the “be still” part of that verse – always have and God has shown me much mercy.  I looked up this verse and here is the rest of it

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

So when He tells us to be still – it’s not forever it’s just long enough for HIM to get the credit – not us. Oh, that’s good ladies.  I’m preaching to myself now…..can I get an AMEN (I just gave myself one).

Here are some more scriptures that you all sent to me –

  “In his heart a man plans his course but the LORD determines the steps.” Proverbs 16:9

               “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3

               “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5

 “The LORD your God is with you, and he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Will we get the cheaper place, don’t know but hope so.

But I know that the Lord is with us and we have many of you praying for us so let’s give God the Glory and wait !!
