It’s been so long since I have blogged anything that I almost forgot how to get into my account.  So here I am, just a quick blog to say hello and happy 2016!!

I’ve been busy, yes Praise God!!  Work is good.  Decisions I’ve made are good.  Friends are great!!

Been so busy that I have “forgotten” to slow down and allow moments to inspire me – but recently 2 words were too inspirational to keep to myself.

A friend emailed me back and forth and somehow in our communication the word “Embrace” began to swim around inside me…….what an powerful old verb…

Websters says Embrace is:

1a :  to clasp in the arms : hugb : cherish, love

Wow, so much more than a hug – Thank you Father for EMBRACING me, all of me – with each flaw and sparkle, I EMBRACE You also, all of You – through surprises or suffering, through winning and losing – I EMBRACE You.

So, I went along my way with Embrace dancing inside my heart for a few days when I was attending a women’s meeting and one of the speakers used the word – Dignity.

WHOA!!!!!  Now that is an old word you don’t hear much anymore.

Websters says Dignity is:

1:  the quality or state of being worthy, honored, or esteemed

2a :  high rank, office, or positionb :  a legal title of nobility or honor

3archaic : dignitary

4:  formal reserve or seriousness of manner, appearance, or language

I like ……”legal title of nobility or honor” –

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

So Ladies……my blog for today is……do not forget who you are.  You are a daughter of the Creator of the Universe – don’t forget to……….

Embrace Dignity
